Our Story
Our founders, Costanzo Scala and Oscar Zuffada are long-term friends who first crossed paths in London in 2009 while leading the Wine Department of the Michelin-starred restaurant Benares. Notably, Benares was the first Indian restaurant to debunk the myth that Indian cuisine couldn't be paired with wine, earning widespread recognition in the UK and worldwide.
Following their time at Benares, Costanzo and Oscar embarked on separate journeys, taking on prestigious roles across Asia, Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. Throughout their diverse careers, they always found great joy in working together and nurtured the idea of establishing a consultancy company together someday.
That day has now arrived. Despite the passing of many years, their shared passion, vision, and accumulated expertise have led them to this point, where they can offer their skill set, vision, and experience to serve others in the hospitality industry.
Costanzo Scala is a highly accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality and wine industry. He has held numerous prestigious and influential management positions in some of the world's most renowned restaurant brands. Throughout his career, Costanzo Scala has contributed his expertise as a Director of Operations, General Manager, and Group Head of Wine, covering a wide range of responsibilities across different world's regions.
With his extensive knowledge and experience, Costanzo Scala has also worked as a consultant for several top restaurants, providing valuable insights and guidance in restaurant management and brand development. His understanding of the industry's intricacies and his ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement make him a sought-after advisor.

He has acquired multiple certifications in wine courses, and he has further elevated his professional profile by earning a distinguished certificate in "hospitality management" from Cornell University.
